At the same time, it was born in the special and complex of 20th century, and absorbed many nutrients with a kind of keen outgoing disposition. So it is indispensable to analyze this kind of cultural and literary environment. The modern wuxia-novel causes to surge again and again in 20th century, which proves it special aesthetics fully. To hold its aesthetics is the basis to define its aesthetic value. The figure of its readers is not the standard to measure its aesthetic value because appreciation is different from critique. Appreciation starts from individual propensity, and it likes for a kind of special aesthetic experience strongly, and many factors such as age, personality, experience and fashion will influent it. We measure the aesthetic value of modern wuxia-novel from critics not only needing to analyze the last change and development comparative to pre-modern wuxia-novel as vertical comparison but also to compare to other literary including popular literary and non-popular literary as horizontal comparison. Although we cannot use the standard of essence literary to popular literary, they are all literary and it is possible and necessary to compare.
