On The Concept And Classification Of The Tibetan Traditional Novel

Tibetan traditional novel has a long history and a rich cultural background, but since it is slow in the pace of development, there are not many works left and has little effect on the Tibetan literary history. It had not formed a writing style and a theoretical foundation before the appearing of the new novel. We have to follow the modern literary theory while analyzing its concept and classification.This thesis not only followed theories of the Tibetan contemporary literature, but also absorbed a lot of today's new theory of the Chinese and western literature. In this way, we further analyzed and studied its concept, classification and literature point of view.The thesis can be divided into four chapters except for the preface and conclusion.The first chapter gives brief introduction to the Tibetan traditional novel and its cultural background.The second chapter discusses the concept and character of the Tibetan traditional novel.The third chapter analyzes the theme and classification of the Tibetan traditional novel.The fourth chapter describes the viewpoint of the Tibetan novel.
