LiYU's Standpoint Of Female

In this paper, we research the standpoint about female in the ?The Ten Dramas?, and we focus on conflictions and the complication standpoint on female which author LiYU brought to us during figuring characters. Through unscrambling the 《The Ten Dramas》, comparing it with other literature written by LiYu, as novels and poesies, combining the changes in females' life during the various Ming and Qing society, we research the composition and the cause of formation on the female standpoint of LiYu. The paper is organized as following:Firstly, we present the characteristics of LiYu's female standpoints. His female standpoints is complicated and conflicted in many aspects which caused by the Ming and Qing society.Secondly, we focus on the obverse point of LiYu's female standpoints, which is the affirmation to female. He affirms the brightness and the desirer of female, recognizes female's right to be married freely and to be received education, he makes old ethic to be light. In these five points, the affirmation for desirer of female is most comprehensive. He affirms the peruses to visage of man, money, reputation, ardour.Thirdly, we analyze the localization of LiYu's cognition on female. There are many descriptions of multi-wives in the ?The Ten Dramas?. He censures the cruel women, and praise women who obey the ethic of women consciously. LiYu telegraphs his psychology of play women. In his eyes, women should obey men without any requirement, and any activities of women should make men happy.Fourthly, we analyze the formation of his standpoint on female. In the age between Ming and Qing, thought of human culture is caused by the development of commodity economy, but the old system did no t die out, it refused to accept the thought of human culture. So the life of LiYu affect his standpoint of female. After dynasty transferred, he chances the third life style, lives in the feint unite of dissoluteness and Dao.
