The Research Of Semantic Focusing Adverbs

Focus-sensitive operator is important to confirm the focus and explain the focus-structure. The research of the focus-sensitive operator has been begun recently years. And nobody make an almightiness and system research.The thesis studies one of the focus-sensitive operators------focusing adverbs. Itanalyses and delineates the association with focus from object, direction, amounts and so on. And then conclude the semantic characters and senmantic association characters.The thesis has three parts.The first part is definite the focus, the types of the focus, focus-sensitive. And then introduce the function of the focus-sensitive operator in the focus structure.The second part selects the represetation of focusing-adverbs. Basing on the grammar meaning of the different focusing adverbs, it analyses the character of the different semantic objects when the focusing adverbs in no-mark condition, the objects's position and semantic scope and the order in a sentence. And it also analyses the semantic direction and objects when in marking condition.The third part is concluding what kind of adverbs is focusing adverbs and the common characters of the focusing adverbs.
