BACKGROUNDMental health is the foundation for the growth of the college students. To foster students' good character with a high-quality, innovative talents, many colleges in China pay more and mare attention to undergraduates'mental health education in schools. In a certain Universtiy, the Psychological Counseling Center has been systematically working for four years. The work has played an obvious role in mental health education and the university management.OBJECTIVESThis article made a correlation analysis on mental health data of Grade 2004 undergraduates in the university in question associated with the academic achievements, aimed to examine the extent to which the impact on their academic performance of the university full-time-in-school undergraduates' mental health factors, and to provide the scientific basis for the university in question to enhence the education management and to explore educational innovation in teching.METHODThis article used the latest edition of the "Chinese College Students Mental Health Inventory" compiled by a team of experts organized by the Ministry of Education as measured tool, one class as a unit, the university in question has 6, 873 full-time undergraduates of Grade 2004, a total of 6, 829 students are in the real test. Measurement of 99.4%, of which 4, 367 were boys and 2, 462 were girls; concentrate testing. The tests will cover all the 29 colleges, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, physical work and studies, management, medical and other professional disciplines. Provide unified guidance of language tests, the test answer sheet after the end of the recovery, finishing the establishment of the unified coding test basic information base. The inspection data revealed that the exhaustive, with its academic Secretary for statistical analysis using SPSS 10.0.MAIN RESULTS1. Total 6, 873 full-time undergraduates of Grade 2004, a total of 6, 829 students have real test. Measurement of 99.4%. The boys are 4367, accounting for 63.9% and girls 2462, accounting for 36.1% .sex ratio close to 2:1, data for efficient 99.99%; academic achievement, analysis results to the introduction of the GPA.2. T-test and F-test and logistic regression analysis of the basic conditions that affect academic performance of students in the major considerations are: gender, nationality and location.3. Using Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression analysis. The main impact on the mental health of academic factors as: "rigorous", "learning to adapt", "interpersonal adaptation" "Anxiety" and "learning", "confident", "Careers Adaptation" and "enthusiasm", "active", "withdrawn". "Bigotry" and "direct personality."CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS1.Strengthen mental health education, improving the overall quality of students, in view of the ideological and ethical quality mental health of students, scientific and cultural quality of the physical, psychological health education. Improve the mental health of students and improving academic quality is of positive significance.2. Conduct extensive psychological evaluation, the creation of mental health education classes, lectures, group and individual counseling. Comprehensively improve the mental health of students, and promoting quality improvement.3. To provide Psychological counseling and mental health services for students. To help backward students with study on the psychological confusion and the difficulties they encountered. All above are essential to improve the quality of education and teaching.
