Feminism Under The Male Point Of View

Nowadays, though Feminism has been widely and boomingly researched, some views still hold that Feminism is the business of female, and it has little to do with male; This dissertation tends to argue against these views, and it starts with the male point of view, focusing on awareness and research from male on Feminism. This dissertation is categorized into 4 parts. The first part probes into the active transition and interpretation by male scholars for western Feminism Literature, hereby showing the enthusiastic attention from male critics to feminist criticism. The second part surveys the probes and critical practice at male critics on the aspect of Feminism, interpreting the approaches of male critics used for researched on Feminism. The third part focuses on the judgements on the attitudes by male critics, starting with the value of Feminism which includes academic value, and spiritual one; and all these values are displayed in the terms of positiveness, negativeness and duality. The fourth part aims at the direct and indirect dialogues between male and female, pointing out the difference and conformity with comparison and analysis due to gender, emphasizing that it is necessary and benefical for Feminism research to have dialogues and communication between male and female.The key point for this paper is that there are many male critics participating in Feminist research, and many outstanding male scholars are keen on the construction of feminism; there are many male critics warmly involved in the transition of western Feminism into East, and many scholars are devoted into the development of Western feminism in China, it is a possibility for the further development of feminism in China, because of the active critical practice of male critics, whose endevour can not be ignored in the process of development of china's feminism. Some views hold that feminism is the business of women's own, and men attach no importance to feminism, which are caused by 2 reasons. One is that women are all the way inferior to men, which brings misunderstanding and prejudice to women that men care little about feminism.
