Research On The Juxtaposed Complex Sentence Of Two Possible Types And The Juxtaposed Complex Sentence Of Two Difficult Types

The logic term is used to named the two type complex sentences in the headline. "Two possible" and "two difficult" are divided from the angle of the expression, namely, the meaning people express divides them. "Two possible" includes two kinds of meaning, one has two or more than two choices from subjective perspective, but either is feasible and can be accepted. There is no significant influence regardless of any kind of choice. "Two difficult"refer to the embarrassment because of facing certain non-subjective factor, one is in dilemma, namely, it is not feasible however the speaker does any choice.Two typical juxtaposed complex sentences of two possible forms and a typical juxtaposed complex sentence of two difficult forms are chosen to analyze in the present thesis. They are "A Yexing, B Yexing", "A Yehao, B Yehao", "A Ye Bushi, B Ye Bushi". The language data attained from modern Chinese cropus base in Peking University and www.people.com.cn are analyzed carefully, according to the Three-Dimension Theory and discourse analysis theory. The characteristics of two types of complex sentences have been explored from different levels and angles, by connecting trending study to stable studying."A Yexing, B Yexing" and "A Yehao, B Yehao" represent two types of two possible types of complex sentences. The former can express the positive meaning independently, which means when facing certain objective situation, one can have two or more than two elections from subjective point, and the speaker thinks either choice is feasible and acceptable. While the latter can't express the positive meaning independently, often it goes together with the following sentences, and either choice has no significant influence in the result of that matter. In the language form formality, the sentence structure resembles, both have the type of stability, expending and changing. In most cases, the sub sentence of the two types is similar roughly, whose syllable number is usually same or close. Both A and B may be any kind of phrase and structure. The difference is that the former can be predicate and object of a sentence, or conditional sentences. However, the latter can be any component and conditional sentences. In the semantics, A and B in the former can only include versa and row combining. While the latter can explain not only sentences but also subject, predicate, object and attribute. The former expresses the speaker's different attitude and feeling in different context. While the latter expresses the meaning according to the narrow context. By analysis, it is found that whether it is self-sufficient or not is the key problem caused the difference between them.
