Research On The Admonition In The Pre-Tang Days

The history of admonition goes very far, which is ancient and has strong vitality, until recently no one has studied it completely and systematically. The paper intercepts the Pre-Tang days, which discusses the evolvement of the admonition from a diachronic angle and the category of the Pre-Tang admonition and its various performance characteristic from a synchronic angle. The paper consists of five parts:The preface introduces the present research of the Pre-Tang admonition, which is mainly divided into two stages: ancient and contemporary. The research of ancient times is from the birth of the admonition to the late of the 19th centuries, from Wenfu, Wenzhangliubielun, The literary Mind and the Carving of the Dragon etc, including various registered standard of Post-Tang. The late of Qing Dynasty from Lin Shu and Liu Shipei's views, we can see the admonition research of ancient times is becoming complete; and the research of contemporary displays different features with ancient times, which focuses the study on someone's works or the admonition of some categories profoundly on the basis of the integration of the past's standpoint macroscopically, elaborating the example meaning of admonition for us from the particular angle. The preface introduces the research object, method and meaning in the meantime.The body of the paper mainly elaborates the meaning of"Zhen", origin and classification of the admonition. Trace to origins of the"Zhen", first, because to understand the origins of admonition style is decided, to some extent, by the meaning of the words. From the change of the"Zhen"word source and the meaning as a word,"Zhen"is from something to somebody, from curing the disease of physiology to curing that of psychology, and then to correcting other's weaknesses and faults. So the leading meaning of the"Zhen"and the admonition of style intersect certainly. To trace the origin of admonition is coming from the classic theory, for example some tradition thought"houdao"or"zongjing". The admonition is just one kind of language and writing activity which are representative of"Liujing"after analyzing the value of the classic production. Then to confirm the earliest existing admonition is Yuzhen which is complete and independent also.
