The Research On The Official Admonition Of Zhipu

The culture of official admonition books has a long history dating back to the Xia and Shang Dynasty. The evolution of official admonition books shows that the major contents of them convert from the requirement to the officers’ moral character into administrative practice. The reason is that the mainstream values of ancient Chinese society become formation and solidification, the development of the rule of law to bring high demands on the official professionalism, increase social disputes caused by population growth, as well as officials of the administrative capacity of the imperial examination system caused by the election officer missing. The increase of official admonition books contents make them became an encyclopaedia of the ancient China society。She Ziqiang wrote Zhipu in the late Ming Dynasty, recorded a lot of information about the late Ming Dynasty society,it has high research value. However, there is no academic work or specialized research articles on it. This paper will be first attempt to research on Zhipu,make a comprehensive research of its writer and different edition, analysis its official admonitions.This paper will make three parts to research on the official admonition of Zhipu:The first chapter will research on the origin and evolution of the official admonition books, and analyzes its evolution trends.The second chapter will research on the different edition of Zhipu, compile the all She Ziqiang’s life, analyze relationship between She Ziqiang and the other publisher of Zhipu.The third chapter will research on the official admonition of Zhipu concretely.
