Design Of Environmental Color

Design of color is an important content of the design of environment,successful design of environmental color contributes to create pleasant indoor and outdoor space.Peole favor and use color because of their cultural backguounds and its own features.To research for the design of environmental color,we have to own basic knowledge in this field.Modern design is based on rational analysis.The research for the analysis and functions of color is helpful for the formation of the ways to design environmental color.Color,this word,is a complex concept.One is the appearance of color and the objectice factors which causes its appearance.The other is how people understand the color,and humane intensions of color.The former is existential condition of the latter,and the latter promotes and helps the understanding and use of the former.The use of environmental color can be dated from primeval society.Because of the influence of natural features,such as weather,terrain,and that of people's traditional habits in different cultural areas,people use different environmental color.We can call it regional feature of environtal color.Since modern times,the use of environtal color has been on the way to be scientific and rational.This process was started by Impressionism in drawing,by the effort of great masters in Bauhaus,it was established in Ulm.This paper tries to give suggestions by the state in the form of analysing environmental color.Meanwhile,by the state of the functions of environmental colors,it illuminates readers with applying to environmental color.
