The Study On LiDa's Modern Chinese Economic History Research

Li Da (1890-1966 ) is an encyclopedia -like character in Marxism theory in the first half of 20^th century. He is not only one of the most important founders on Marxist philosophy, sociology and legal science, but also a historian with rich achievements and great influence. However, his contribution to history, especially the achievement in Chinese economic history was sheltered by his success on philosophy, sociology and legal science in a very long time. So this paper aims to both display his main achievements in modern Chinese economic history by studying his works, and make a proper comment on his academic success through reviewing the process of the foundation and development of modern Chinese economic history.The paper consists of four parts. The first intend to review Li Da's seeking on theory and it's character at first years, then express the development of his academic theory.The second part emphatically analyzes the background, content and success of "China Industrial revolution", meanwhile lay it under the big background of "Controversy of Chinese History" to promulgate the practicality of his research.The third paragraph focuses on discussing "Prologue of the Chinese Modern Economic history" and "Summary of Chinese Modern Economic history " and his success .
