The Research On The Confucianism Of Han Dynasty Reflected In The Portraits Of The Historical Story In The Shrine Of Wu Family

This thesis aims to study the portraits of the historical story in the shrine of Wu family .On the basis of comprehensively collecting the portraits, this thesis is trying to apply the method of corresponding the historical books to the picture materials and follow the standard of "loyalty-piety-chastity-righteousness" of the Confucianism to analyze and classify the portraits of the historical story. By connecting the visual pictures with the historical books, culture, society and history, the author puts the emphasis on comparing the Confucianism of Han dynasty with the Confucianism of Pre-Qin and conducts a deep-layer analysis on the Confucianism of Han dynasty of the portraits of the historical story in the Shrine of Wu family. This job will fill in the gap of this studying field.This thesis falls into four parts. The first part mainly explains the research expectation of the thesis after sketching the research motives and the research methods, introspecting and pondering over the current situation of this proposition; The second presents the ideology background of creating the Han stone relief and expounds overall the importance of the Confucianism and the effect on the art-creation in Han. The third introduces the overall circumstances about the shrine of Wu family and the portraits of the historical story, including the time of creating, the status of the shine owner, the content of the portraits, the distribution in the shrine of Wu family. According to the standard of "loyalty- piety-chastity-righteousness" of the Confucianism , the historical stories are divided into four, including "the piety story" , "the loyalty story", "the women story" and "the assassin story". The author selects the most representative portraits of each type, combining with the corresponding historical books, to compare the Confucianism of Han dynasty with the Confucianism of Pre-Qin.The last part of the whole thesis belongs to summary. The content of the foregoing theme is summarized, and the values and meanings of the thesis are emphasized.
