| Puxian Opera was conceived in the Tang Dynasty,formed in the Song and Yuan Dynasties,prospered in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.After more than 800 years,it is still active on the opera stage.Puxian Opera repertores contain rich connotation of education,including the ethical and moral concepts advocated by Confucian culture,the concept of studying and pursuing career,and the concepts of good and evil that integrate Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism and sorcery.These concepts are not only rooted in Confucian traditions,but also have strong regional cultural colors.They are deeply influenced by Puxian’s historical culture,religious beliefs,social life and other factors.They show the acceptance and transformation of the culture of the elite class by the people of Puxian,which is rich in the folk sensibility.Puxian Opera is oriented to audiences,combining education with entertainment,and combining education with emotions.It is good at conveying the connotation of enlightenment in a way that audiences love to hear,and grasp the rhythm of education of opera.In addition,Puxian opera emphasizes narration,but rather expresses emotion,belongs to plot opera.The transmission of educational concept is rarely conveyed through Lyric lyrics of characters,but by using nested story structure,using different narrative perspectives and other narrative techniques,and paying attention to the combination of opera performance and local folk custom,so as to achieve better teaching effect.The article is divided into four parts.The introduction includes the origin of the research,the significance of the research,the review of the research status and the research methods.The first chapter reviews the development and evolution of Puxian Opera,and introduces the basic situation of Puxian Opera,including scripts,characters,music,performance venues,etc.Then it explores the background of Puxian Jiaohua opera,introduces the belief of Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism and witchcraft in Puxian area and its enlightenment direction,and analyzes the enlightenment situation of Sanyi Religion.On this basis,combing through the literature,it outlines the development and performance history of the Puxian Opera with rich enlightenment connotation.The second chapter makes an in-depth analysis of the ethical and moral views,the causality of good and evil,and the view of reading and pursuing industry conveyed by Puxian Opera.On the basis of the comparison with the literati opera,the similarities and differences are analyzed and the causes of the similarities and differences are deeply explored.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of Puxian opera’s enlightenment mode,and explores their roles in the transmission of enlightenment from the perspective of narrative techniques and folk customs. |
