A Typology Research By Decors Of Potteries On Zuojiashan Site

This paper mainly makes a research of Zuojiashan site and other concerns by the way of period division study. Because of the singleness of the pottery's combinations and shapes in this area, there must be exists some limitations to have a period division study only through the traditional way of shape's perspective. So, this paper puts forward another way which starts with the pottery's decors, focus on all the decors of potteries in Zuojiashan site of Nong'an, aims to makes a comprehensive and systemic typology research based on the previous period division study. According to the difference of decors, this paper makes a further research in use of period division way on Zuojiashan site.This paper consists of five parts.The first part makes an introduction of general situation about physical geography on Zuojiashan site. It has set forth the importance of Zuojiashan site among the archeology study in the area of second drainage-basin of Songhua River.The second part looks back to the former period division study of Zuojiashan site. It sums up the present conditions and the existing research result of previous records. At the same time, this part also summarized the main content, thought of research and the advanced research result of this paper.The third part makes a typology study among the decors of potteries. This part classified the decors by sort, type and pattern. Follows that, continue to makes a research of decors group by group according to the relationship of stratum in former reports, thereby elicit the plan of period division.The fourth part makes a comparison of period division results between now and before. It also makes an analysis on the sameness and difference of period division way among this paper and previous period division articles.The last part makes a brief conclusion above the results from this paper.
