The bourgeois women's literature has brought forth a unique scenery since it emerged the literature world in the last decade of 20th century. It is significant to know bourgeois which is a part of modern city for the contemporary economic development of China. The bourgeois women's literature is an important approach to understand bourgeois because the reflection of its living. Moreover, the bourgeois women's literature is an important part of Chinese women's literature and Chinese literature, owing to its enrichment and dedication for Chinese literature. So there is great significance to study profoundly and instruct bourgeois women's literature.Now the bourgeois women's literature does not receive enough recognition and its study is still at the beginning stage. As a colony which emerged with the development of Chinese market economy and city prosperity, bourgeoisie has more relations with overseas nations, especially Occident than native tradition. The same situation to bourgeois women's literature which has assimilated lots of pabulum from foreign literature. However, many scholars do not attach importance to the foreign influence that bourgeois women's literature has got, except for a few articles. Herein, on the economic and cultural background of today's China, adopted methods of influence study, feminism and other literature theories, this article investigate characters and foreign influence of bourgeois women's literature roundly in the visual threshold of comparative literature, in order to give an impersonal estimate and forecast the future of bourgeois women's literature.The first chapter differentiated and analyzed several views about bourgeois: 1) as a political group. 2) be accepted as a especial class. 3) as a fettle or mood. On above basis we concluded a relatively accurate conception about bourgeois: bourgeois is those people who live at easy, educated better, have more leisure, and pursue the aestheticism of everyday life. Furthermore, this chapter defined the category of bourgeois women's literature: bourgeois women's literature is the opus written by female bourgeois to reflect the life style, ideology and value criterion of bourgeois.The second chapter discussed the characters of bourgeois women's literature from ideology and content, style, narrative skill, and aesthetic manner. On ideological tendency, bourgeois women's literature represented nihilism of gainsaying ideality and individual value through overthrowing traditional spirit of humanism. On style, bourgeois women's literature adopted mostly essay and novel which distinguish from traditional style at many aspects. Reason and thought were weakened in essay while novel represented more comparability with essay. There were various narrative skills in bourgeois women's literature such as changeful narrative point, unfinished finis, exposed narration, the adoption of flashback and narration interposed, and so on. These skills remedied the shortcoming of content at a certain extent, but excessive attention to skill resulted in formalism sometimes. On aesthetic manner, bourgeois women's literature was more alike to occidental because it not only presented the coexistence of elegance and earthliness, but also paid attention to the action of perception in aesthetic course.The third chapter discussed mostly the influence that female bourgeois writers had accepted from foreign literature, and deepened the understanding of bourgeois women's literature in the visual threshold of comparative literature. The first section investigated into the origin relation in the spirit origin between Wei Hui and Henry Miller, Marguerite Du Russ, Murakamiharuki; The second section analyzed the postmodern characters of Baby Annie under influence from foreign literature; The third section discussed the influence western fairy tale on Zhang Yueran's writing; The fourth section established a foundation for appraising bourgeois women's literature roundly and impersonally through discussing macroscopically the foreign influence on the whole female bourgeois writers and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of this influence.On the basis of analyzing Chinese economy and culture, the fourth chapter gave literary orientation and evaluation for bourgeois women's literature, and forecasted its perspective in the future. The object this article studied involves to a new domain. There are not many research results in this aspect. I hope this article can play the role which offers a new ordinary introductory remarks, so that others may offer their valuable ideas to impel the research of the bourgeois women's literature, and provide correct instruction for the development of the bourgeois women's literature.
