Study On The Hongfu Play Of Ming And Qing Dynasties

After engaging in textual research, the extant world 'Hongfu play' scripts are altogether five, in which Ming Dynasty has three: the Legend 'Hongfu records' written by Zhang Fengyi,the Zaju 'North Hongfu records' of Ling Mengchu and Feng Menglong's Legend 'Heroic woman'; Qing Dynasty has one : 'North Hongfu records', the Zaju which has eleven acts written by Cao Yin; Modern has one 'Wind and cloud to meet'. In this article, beforehand four are the major objects of study, I will explore the path which the image of Mrs Hongfu to evolve and the behind time culture vicissitude and make every effort for each work by the brand-new fair and just appraisal. Moreover, I'm going to carry on the collection and collation of saving the titles of those Hongfu plays whose content has been lost.The paper divides into seven parts: In the introduction, by the subject 'female seeks a mate to the variant', I will draw out the main source of the image 'Hongfu' in the dramas of Ming and Qing Dynasties - the image 'Hongfu' in the Tang Legend ' Dragon Fine beard Guest Biography', and introduced the present research situation of the image 'Hongfu' in the dramas. In the first chapter, I will work outline the dramas which deducted the image 'Hongfu' by the later generation, and also carry on the collection and collation of saving the titles of those Hongfu plays whose content has been lost. The Second chapter,the third chapter,and the fourth chapter analysed and appraised separately the image 'Hongfu's evolvement in the three dramas: the Legend 'Hongfu records' written by Zhang Fengyi,Ling Mengchu's Zaju 'North Hongfu records',and the Legend 'Heroic woman' of Feng Menglong. In the fifth chapter, I not only carried on the textual research for the extant transcript and block-printed book of 'North Hongfu records', but also discussed the return of the image 'Hongfu's characteristic to the original works 'Dragon Fine beard Guest Biography' and small slight defect of the work. The Seventh chapter is the conclusion, this part not only separately discussed the time cultural context and every writer's subjective sentiment of 'Dragon Fine beard Guest Biography' and the later generation's four plays, but also summarized both the different characteristic and reason of the five images that this article elaborated .
