As the animation technology advancing with each passing day, special effects are increasingly applied to and integrated into the grammar of animation language, becoming an essential presentation element for the communication between the audience and the animation works and an important component of movie-watching experience.Currently there is an enormous number of books on special effects and their producing while the majority focus exclusively on technical reference books or on the use of soft wares, leaving a vacancy of the literature on the combined analyses of animation special effects and plots and the definition and criterion of the special effects are unitary. This brings about the limited technology standards or even technology-centered thought if the definition is confined in technology level in a time of advancing technology. There is a gap between domestic animations and world cutting-edge works and the dissertation explores on the reasons behind and the corresponding keys to the practical solutions.
