When we watch the displays and enjoy the artworks in the art museum, we often are touched directly by them. Our mood, tone and emotion can be felt and found inside the art works themselves; that kind of artworks are about situation, experience and feeling. It is artworks that indicate the special understanding and communication between people, not the words. From the concrete feeling of real life experiences, artists create self-worlds which can process the perceptual experience. A picture, an object, always has the perceptual function. Such work changes based on the artist's own experience, and has impacts on viewing. The artworks are telling the story by involving viewer's own experience in history and other various aspects. Every artist's experience and memory exist in their respective work. Goethe has a saying that is "Not to attempt to discover any novel thing, but only to observe things that are already discovered in my own way."The artworks are the intellectual products which accumulate the life experience. They express life stories and events. To transform the memory of those stories and events needs artists' own experience. While creating their works, artists are enlightening and recollecting simultaneity. Creation enlightenment and recollection represent three different time marks, thus art is produced.Joseph Buys unfolded his own experience in some of his works to tell his experience, feeling and self-reflection. His artworks have the life-significance themselves. Also they are able to change and represent themselves from inside out. In brief, his artworks have their own experience.
