Ninggang, located at the southwest of Jiangxi province , which is the sacred place of Jinggangshan join forces, was merged to the Jinggangshan city in 2000. The Ninggang dialect is the Ji-Cha subdialect of the Gan Dialects. At present,there is little research in the Ninggang dialect. Based on the extensive fieldwork and some related research results of scholars, this paper gives a comprehensive description to the phonology of Ninggang dialect.This article, is composed of six sections.It gives a detailed description of the phonology of Ninggang dialect such as the syllabary, colloquial and literary strata and tone sandhi and neutral tone. And at the same time through comparison between the phonology of Ninggang dialect and that of Guangyun, it probes into the historical thread of thought and the internal laws of the phonetic development in Ninggang Speech from chronological aspects, and compares the Ninggang dialect and the main pronunciation characteristic of Gan Dialects,the Yongxi dialect and the Ninggang Hakka.The description and analysis of the phonology of Ninggang dialect may not only enrich people's knowledge about Gan Dialects, but also get a deep understanding of Ji-Cha subdialect and provide necessary materials for Ji-Cha subdialect.
