An Experimental Study On The Tones Of Kaiyuan Dialect

The Kaiyuan dialect is affiliated to the southwestern official dialect of the southern part of the Yunnan dialect.So far,the research results of the Kaiyuan dialect are relatively few,especially the research on the dialect of Kaiyuan dialect needs to be strengthened.In this paper,the acoustic variation of Kaiyuan dialect is studied by means of acoustic experiments,and the pitch and duration of the monosyllabic tone,tone sandhi,the tone change of neutral tone and Erhua in speech flow,and experiments on other changes,then revealing the law of tone changes in Kaiyuan dialect.The full text is divided into four chapters.The introduction part introduces the research object,the reason and research method of this paper,the review of dialect sound change research and the related description of the test situation.The first chapter uses the speech analysis software Praat to analyze the tones of the dialects from the two aspects of pitch and duration.The study shows that the monotonic pattern of the Kaiyuan dialect is 55 for the Yinping,53 for the Yangping,and 33 for the Shangsheng and the Qusheng is 212,it is compared to the tone data in the conventional literature.The second chapter conducts experiments and descriptions on the tone sandhi of Kaiyuan dialect,and analyzes law of Tone Sandhi and triple tone sandhi.The research results show that time and gender do not affect the tone.In the Kaiyuan dialect,the double tone sandhi style is mainly based on the descending type and the lifting type,and the triple tone sandhi style is mainly flat and flat.The experimental results show that there are few cases in which the front words are changed in the Kaiyuan dialect.Most of them are post-word influence the tone and the pre-words and post-words change together leads to the change of the front and back words.The third chapter studies the neutral tone of the dialect "T+T0" from the three aspects of pitch,duration and sound intensity.It is found that the "soft voice" of Kaiyuan dialect belongs to "neutral tone",and the neutral tone is flattened and change to 55;in the experiment,the neutral tone in the Kaiyuan dialect are much longer thanthe unneutral words,and the gender factor does not affect the duration of the neutral tone.The Erhua is only a kind of chorus,and the influence on the value of the former word is very large.When a word is combined with an "Er",the tone changes a lot.In addition to the fact that Yinping and "Er" are less affected,Yangping,Shangsheng,Qusheng and "Er" have undergone major changes.In the Erhua after the overlap,the tone change will also occur.Except for the overlap of the Yinping and the Erhua,the other three tones overlap with the Erhua,and the second Erhua after the overlap becomes a flat tone.The fourth chapter studies the other tone’s changes of Kaiyuan dialect,including the tonal modification,the tones sandhi of “le” and “zhe”,the syllable change,and the four characteristic suffixes "zi" 、 "shou" 、 "chang" and "fa".
