Quanzhou-accented mandarin is a kind of inter-language, which is developed during the progress of learning standard mandarin by Quanzhou people whose mother tongue is Quanzhou dialect. This thesis firstly has a simple comparison on vowel, consonant and intonation between Quanzhou dialect and mandarin in phonology. Then, analyses the differences in phonetics with acoustic and listening experiments between Quanzhou-accented mandarin and standard mandarin, and describes the details of acoustic and pronouncing behaving of Quanzhou-accented mandarin. The basal visage of Quanzhou-accented mandarin in vowel, consonant and intonation, and the existing problems while the Quanzhou people speaking mandarin are showed up. The acoustic and listening experiments are comparatively more exact than using listening single; it has a great of practicing meaning in manipulation and feasibility. From the elementary research above, this thesis has a conclusion of the common characteristics and rules while the Quanzhou people speaking mandarin, as well as to propose suggestions and measures for them to improve their mandarin, which provide references for eliminating dialect accent when mandarin teaching. Research results to further the expansion mandarin have certain instruction meaning.
