This article focus on the historical development laws of Manchu dance. As a category of ethnic minority dance, Manchu dance possess an important national cultural value and unique artistic value. In the long historical development, the growth mark of the fishing and hunting life and the vivid body language expression were both recorded in the source of the Manchu dance. With Manchu nationality' s development, the role's transformation from the uncivilized nation to the governor of the Central Plains caused the changes of national culture. But in the contemporary era, Manchu dance haven't grown up the perfect and systematic performance system as some other ethnic minorities' dance have. Manchu dance wasn't pushed to the peak of artistic creation by it's unique and lively national culture, but are facing the crisis of survival along with the national complex historical process. Therefore, facing directly the realistic problem of Manchu dance's historical development, I built up "two trend" dual-structure analysis as the historical framework in this article, and construct the historical development of Manchu dance into the "integration and regeneration" binary relations which are mutually related and parallel. It means the integration developing trend brought up by the national cultural integration, and the regeneration developing trend nurtured in the integration trend. In the historical analysis of "integration and regeneration", we can more orderly summarize the important developing phenomenon of Manchu dance, and probe into the challenges to it's unique characteristics as well as the creative dilemma. Finally, the historical laws and characteristics of Manchu dance could be objectively realized and understood.
