Using the communication theory into the interior design is a new study direction. This paper establishes the theory frame of interior design communicating model by analyzing the relationship between the four communicating factors of interior design. Using communication theory and method to study interiors design is a new taste, which creates a new idea to interior design and bring some apocalypse and help to study in this field.The paper carries out the study tightly around the application of communication theories to interior design and gets some valuable conclusion as follows: 1)Through analyzing the relationship between interior design and architecture design, and using the architecture theory, that architecture is a kind of"similar to mass communication", the course of architecture design may be regarded as a process of communicating, the paper can conclude that in ideal state, the course of interior design can be regarded as a process of communicating. 2)Through studying the theory part of communication, propagator, which has some complex character in interior design (divided into direct propagator and indirect propagator), this paper analyzes the guarantee action and the influence factor of the interior design, and proposes the corresponding communicating tactics in order to communicate information effectively. And through analyzing the relationship between indirect propagator and direct propagator, the paper indicate that in the propagator system, the interior environment designer's status should be strengthened and their effect as direct propagators should be also emphasized, which makes it easy for interior designers to hold more information that is communicated from interior environment. A lot of examples are used to explain how to represent design title and convey interior designers's idea by virtue of various medium. 3)Through analyzing the communicating content in the course of interior environment designing: expression of space function, expression of beauty and expression of meaning, it proves that the information communicating successfully between the interior designers and the audiences must rely on the interior designers and the audiences could share the meaning of interior design symbol. 4)Through studying the psychology of the audiences as the information receiver and analyzing the audiences'demand, attention, acknowledgment, the paper points out that the audiences are not the passive receivers, but the active participators. The interior designers as the propagator and the popular as the audience, their acting influence to communicating action is important equivalently. In interior environment design, it is necessary to study the audiences'feelings to the interior environment and vice versa. Respecting the audiences doesn't mean being sequacious to the audiences. In fact, the relationship between the interior designers and the popular is dialectical and unitive.
