This paper mainly focuses on family human species regression Revealed in Mo Yan's Works. By analyzing its text representation and tracking back to its reasons and its literature tradition, it explores the calamity to human being in terms of traditional culture and modern civilization and the salvation means proposed by Mo Yan—the vital mightiness illustrated in the text.The paper is divided into three parts. First, it expresses the life allegory on family human species regression Revealed in Mo Yan's Works, in which it makes the textual analysis on his main works in views of this issue and defines the concept about it. The argumentation of the following parts, actually, is based on the analysis and coordination in views of related concept.Second, it analyzes the meanings of human species regression and tracks back the literature tradition. In the first place, based on the cultural and textual meanings, it reveals the deeply causes about this issue in his works concerning the contravention and wander between countryside and city as well as the modern people today bound by modern civilization. In the second place, it tracks back to its literature tradition, in which it includes the ideals of Mr. Lu Xun—reforming the national nature of Chinese people and of primary Beijing Man and seeks for the tendency of literature. This part, clearing up the process of the literature tradition of the regression, aims at looking for the resources of the issue in Mo Yan's works.Third, it concludes that it clears up the regression from individual to collectivization as well as the expectation about his writing tendency. The Hong Gaoliang Spirit and the vigorous vitality, proposed in his works, just can be considered as a type of salvation of the text. However, the wild vitality can merely cause the circling of history but not bringing any complete change.
