Traditional Jargon Of Uygur

On the basis of existing study achievement, the Author of the article systemically studied traditional jargon of Uygur by applying theories and knowledge on linguistics,lexicology and semantics.This article is composed of six parts. The first part is the introduction, mainly explaining the definition and categories of jargon and the significance and present situation on traditional jargon in Uygur language, and research methods and content of this article. In the second part, the traditional jargon of Uygur is classified into different groups from it's meaning, grammar, structure and original source. The third part discusses the motivations of traditional jargon in Uygur language. The fourth part used the theory of semantic field to analyze the lexical system of traditional jargon in Uygur language. The fifth part analyses the traditional jargon of Uygur in terms of cultural linguistics to reveal the national characteristics in nomadic culture, sedentary-agrarian culture, silk culture, folk proverb culture and esthetic psychology. The sixth part is the conclusion, in which the characteristics of traditional jargon in Uygur language is summarized.
