Hundred Years Sadness, A Sad Melody

Er yuehe was interested in Qing Dynasty history and learned a lot of its history. Lingli is an Qing Dynasty historian, so she has a special opinion in this history. They all write about the last prosperous period in feudal society of china——"Kang Qian"period. They focus on four kings'life and draw a picture of history and custom in Qing Dynasty society. Especially, their historical novels are not filled with happiness, but express sadness and tragic spirit. My work tries to understand the tragic spirit in their novels through history development, men's destiny and humanistic character.Er yuehe and Lingli's historical novels have succeeded in business and literature. Their work is one of contemporary historical novel outstanding representatives. Their present historical novels creation inherit the tradition of the older historical novels'development.Er yuehe and Lingli realistically write the sorry and sad feelings about this phase of history, it is basing on their understanding in historical development rule and Qing Dynasty's history. This authors mainly from the law of feudalism development ,an abuse of feudal centralization in authority, and the national contradictory to express Qing Dynasty's historical tragedy.Their work discusses the humanist creative principle. They pay attention to human's destiny and life spell of good or bad forune, also try to expound on person's destiny transition in the fulling polt and struggle complex environment. My article expounds on person's life condition and destiny tragedy in Qing Dynasty society interior intense struggles, from the destiny of king family's characters in palace struggles, the intellectual's destiny in the government struggles, and the folk unimportant person's destiny in political struggles these three aspects.They all consciously thoroughly describe character's human nature, and show the beautiful or urgly human nature which hiding in the character's heart to readers, so it causes readers to think deeply. My article analyzes the human nature characterization from the morals and the emotion which the work displays ,also discusses human nature tragedy and the ture,good or beautiful essence of human nature.
