Since the Tang and Song dynasties, due to the lack of metaphysical philosophy in traditional Confucianism, the subtle and subtle theories of Buddhism have been famous for a while. In the face of the decline of Confucianism,Zhu Xi inherited the thoughts of Neo-Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty, and at the same time learned from Buddhism in a simple way for more than ten years. While absorbing the essence of his doctrines,Zhu Xi made Confucianism more advanced in philosophical philosophy, achieving the unity of cultivating one’s morality and governing affairs with the maximization of principles. The study of Zhu Xi’s Four Books is to study the core thought of his Neo-Confucianism,so to speak, the study of the Four Books is an important entry point to study Zhu’s Neo-Confucianism.The Four Books or Wen itself has its own research value. In the process of Zhu Xi’s evaluation and criticism of other scholars,he did not blindly inherit the thoughts of the previous scholars, but chose their thoughts. In the process of commenting on and debating the views of other scholars,he elaborated his own views and constructed a system. In the text of the Four Books or Questions,Zhu Xi discussed the issue of the Mandate of Heaven and the Human Spirit for many times. It was in the process of continuous refutation and interpretation that Zhu Xi gradually formed his own system of Neo-Confucianism,expressed his own standard of Neo-Confucianism,and exerted a far-reaching influence on later generations.
