Bel canto was appeared accompany with the birth of the first opera, it had been a greatest period for the history of musical art and musical development between approximately 1600 and 1750. Until now, the Baroque vocal music has entertained the public for almost 300 years. Especially the Baroque's solo compositions, it has played a significant role in present and developmental history of music, depending on its own particular singing style and exquisite vocal technique. Baroque style vocal music is the fundamental of the improvement and development for vocal techniques and solo compositions, which gave us precious experience and knowledgable reference.Our concerns are the studies based on baroque's solo techniques and compositions itself, w(?)ich could be directly inherited and developed from in musical education, and it also can be used for reference and explored in our study, it is also concerned how it can be studied from various angles. This thesis is intended to study Bel canto from its historical angle of view by contrasting with current music background, teaching skills, vocal techniques and the performance of solo compositions etc. Studying and exploring entirely the baroque vocal music and completely annotation of baroque's solo music is becoming extremely helpful for our current study of vocal techniques, and can also help us better obtain some cultural information in music and help us better understand the social life and humanistic values reflected in the Baroque Music.
