Numerical processing is the individual proceed numberstimulation, formed corresponding psychology representation, andthen use these representation to make homologous cognition, suchas the process of quantities comparison, numbers operation. Itclosely related to the individual's ideation. The Hearingdisorder's language formed and development is relatively logy,due to the hearing and spoken environment is diseased, and alsothe abstract logic development is also slow which accompanied withthe defective language development. This series of feature willaffect the number proceeding. This investigation set numeric,non-numeric and parity judgement as its main task, applyevent-related potential technology, fully investigate the ERPscharacteristic between hearing students and hearing disorderstudents on proceeding simple numeric processing, compared withthe similarity and difference, then figure out the auditorydefective's effect to numerical processing.The conclusions are as follows:1. In the process of judgement on numeric or non-numeric,Hearing Disorder Group evoked the P300 amplitude on the right sideof Parietal center area, center area, and frontal area. thisamplitude was higher than left side, while its latency was shorterthan left side, Appeared obvious right brain advantage effect;While Hearing group evoked P300 amplitude and latency on left brainand right brain, didn't appear obvious difference.2. In the task of Hearing group's number parity judgement,they evoked P300 amplitude on the left side of Center area,Parietal center area and parietal lobe area, which was higherthan right brain and latency is shorter than right brain,appeared obvious left brain advantage effect. While Hearingdisorder showed that proceeding intension and speed on right brainand left brain didn't appear obvious differences. 3. In the 2 different kinds of tasks on number proceeding, bothHearing group and Hearing disorder group evoked N170 and P300elements. But the amplitude intensity as well as latency durationand start up presentation is different.4. The 2 groups evoked P300 Latency on Chinese number, whichlatency is longer than the Arabic digit. This proved thatproceeding Chinese number is affected by Chinese characteristic.
