Development Of Nanchang's Private Commerce In Early Days Of Founding Of PRC And Socialist Transformation

As capital of Jiangxi,Nanchang's commerce was once prosperous in history. From the war of resistance to Japanese to the eve of liberation,Nanchang's commerce turned into stagnancy. In early days of founding of PRC,Nanchang's municipal government tried to restore and develope industry and commerce. During this time,Nanchang's private commerce trapped into difficulties for twice. Under the regulation of municipal government,Nanchang's private commerce broke away from difficulties and made some progress.With the rise and decline of Nanchang's private commerce, private commercer went through accordingly the feelings of doubt and fear,ease, pessimism,pleasure,panic and inactiveness,appreciation and activeness.From 1953 to 1956, Nanchang's private commerce led themselves to socialist road step by step in junior national capitalist forms of wholsale,distrbution,selling on goods on a commission basis,and in senior national capitalist form of the joint state-private ownership of the commerce,or by way of cooperation.Not only did socialist transformation of Nanchang's private commerce socialize and promote the development of Nanchang's private commerce,but also transformed exploiters into laborers whose mind greatly changed. However,there were some shortcomings in trsformation:(1)People required quick success.(2)The speed of trsformation was too high.(3)Many specific jobs were crude.(4)The forms of the ownership of the transformed commerce was simple.All these leave much thought to people now.Based on facts,this paper tried to describe in detail the track of development of Nanchang's private commerce in early days of founding of PRC, and tried to investigate socialist transformation of Nanchang's private commerce under its specific social and historical background,in order to learn lessons and take polical realities.
