oth of Ang Lee's cultural acceptance and geographic denial has decided he has a very unique perspective in all his films.This uniqueness gave Ang a whole lot larger artist spAs one of the most famous and today's greatest contemporary filmmakers, Ang Lee is always trying to present the conflict between western and eastern culture through his tremendous films, in which Ang also discusses about the future direction of both cultures'. Ang tries hard to explore the new form and style of his contemporary films, based on his stand-out-but-also-balanced of Chinese and American tradition in his films. Bace and much more cultural and historical content, rather than those single culture presented directors.Ang balanced very well themes of eastern and western culture, pressure of marketing and all types of artistic elements and techniques.The uniqueness in his film comes from Ang's own bi-cultures tradition, eastern and western, classic and contemporary.Ang is a real traditional Chinese, he is born with the classic Chinese culture, which he presented tremendously in his films through a Taiwan traditional family, through a classic Chinese scene.This essay tries to explore the uniqueness in Ang Lee's film, through the making background, the cultural complex. And the future direction of films is also discussed in this essay.
