Following the research thought of"hunting the syntactic form through the semantic", the thesis studies the rhemization of recourse category, in order to discuss the generative rules because of different location between the verbs and the subordinate case. In addiction, this can further help describing the semantic collocation of the predicate and the object and explaining on the basis of cognition.The first chapter"Summarization of the Research of Rhemization of Recourse Category"generalizes the current research tendency and the existing problems.The second chapter"Classifying of Recourse Category and Putting Forward the Problems"talks about the reasons for classifying the instrument case, the material case and the manner case into the recourse category. Then the thesis sets up two sentence patterns and puts forward the questions on the basis of the transformational dissymmetry: What is the semantic rule of the rhemization of recourse category?The third chapter is"the Rhemization of Iinstrument Case". According to the semantic relationship between the verbs and the instrument case, the thesis describes and classifies the instrument case. Then we set up the semantic continuum of the instrument case and test it by using the syntactic forms, in order to correct the continuum. The continuum reflects the fuzzy borders and the transitional development according to the relation among I, V and P. Because the semantic character of instrument case is invariableness, instrument case rhemizese through metonymy mostly.The forth chapter is"the Rhemization of Material Case". The thesis describes and classifies the material case on the basis of the three semantic characters of attachment, changing into the outcome and consuming. Then it sets up the semantic continuum of the material case by linking to the cognitive chart and the syntactic forms. Because the semantic character of material case is variableness, material case rhemizese closer and closer as the semantic relation beween the material case and the verbs gets closer and closer. Material case rhemizese through semantic compatibility of the verbs and the material case.The fifth chapter is"the Rhemization of Manner Case". The character of manner case is abstract, so we classify it into four categories on the basis of the depending relation between the verbs and manner case, those are"movement track","immateriality character","materiality outcome"and"combination of manner and object". Then we set up the continuum by testing the syntactic forms, and we find that manner case rhemizese in two ways, one is through semantic compatibility of the verbs and the manner case, the other one is metonymy. The transition from the first way to the second one is also the course reflecting that the manner object transfers to the outcome object.The sixth chapter explains the rhemization by the context and the intercommunication. The recourse category becomes the semantic focus when it goes into the object location, which reflects the high efficiency during the intercommunication. So metaphor approaches to the"economic principle".
