YiLing and ChuZhou have been paid more attention to discuss the writingactivities of Ouyang Xiu,who was a great literateur living in song dynasty. Actually,Yingzhou was more significant than them in Ouyang Xiu's life.he asked to be sent to goto Yingzhou as a satrap at the age of forty-three, he was fascinated with the beautifulscenary and simple custom in Yingzhou,and decided to spend his old lives in there.hewrote so many poems to express his wish to return Yingzhou,which we called "Yingzhoucomplex".this thesis mainly analyzes it through his poems relating Yingzhou to revealthe internalty of Ouyang Xiu's emotion.In the Chapter 2, we define the time whenOuyang Xiu arrived in Yingzhou and the poems relating Yingzhou. "Yingzhou complex"was mainly coagulated in the poems expressing his miss to Yingzhou. In chapter 3,wediscuss the internal change in these poems, then the charming of Yingzhou, whichattracted Ouyang Xiu, will be explained.In the chapter 4, we argue that Ouyang Xiu wasnot only missing Yingzhou,but also longing to live in seclusion and looking for his secondhomeland.the pathos of life urged him to seek a spiritual home,where is a chainless,stableand comfortable place. In the next chapter, we discuss the mood of Ouyang Xiu in his oldages when he returned Yingzhou eventually, and come to the conclusion that he nevergave up pursuing the individual life meaning. In the last chapter, the influence Ouyangxiu lived in Yingzhou is discussed. he promoted the reputation and spur the literatureactivity in Yingzhou.Su shi,an another greater literateur, was influenced by the "Yingzhoucomplex" of Ouyang Xiu.
