In this paper, the civilian consciousness of Christianity in Lao She's fictions wasdiscussed. Lao She, who contacted the religious thought in his boyhood and thenjoined Christianity in his young era, never ended the relationship with Christianity.The belief choice of him influenced his value concept on life and the development ofhis career. Moreover, the civilian consciousness of Christianity have influenced intohis fictions creation. Lao She thought that the human relationship and the pursuit oflife under traditional culture was too utilitarian and lacked of attention on the soul. Hehoped to improve the Chinese minds by implement the spiritural literature in china. InLao She's fictions, there are all the idea of the populace on the pursuit for perfecthuman relationship and personality. Additionally, Lao She though that life lacking thespiritural personality and belief would cause the tragedy's occurrence.
