The Vocabulary In Liu Zi And The Value Of Its Language Material

Abstract: From the aspects of polysyllabic words, variant corpus and the value of language material, this article did a series of specific research on Liu zi which was written by Liu Zhou who lived in North Qi period. Among these studies, "Polysyllabic Words in Liu zi" expounds various ways of construction of the double-syllable polysyllabic words and its constitution of lexical category, and summarized the characteristics of Vocabulary. Against Liu zi's feature of quoting and following terms used by processors, "The research on the variant of Liu zi" implement systematical collection of Liu zi and the source of the literature from the aspects of word, phrase, sentence, Grammar. "The research on language value of Liu zi" offers a lot of valuable information for the perfection of Chinese dictionary and the enrichment of Chinese vocabulary from the area of omission of article, omission of senses, and time of examples.From the perspective of linguistics, using planar description, statistics act, contrast and induction. This paper did research on the vocabulary of Liu zi, it provided convincing objective basis for realizing the linguistic value of Liu zi.
