Liu Zhen Studies

In Jian'anqizi, Liu Zhen has won all previous dynastieswriter's esteem for his "Zhengulingshuang, Gaofengkuasu" poetic style andhis independent and fearless personality. Because of time passing and longtime, Liu Zhen's output lost so many that the posterity researched him lessand less without enough historician materials, especially compared with CaoZhi who was called as "saint of the Jianan article". Such situation isalso disadvantageous to the Jian'an literature research.This paper endevaours from the extant historical files of LiuZhen andstudies his work with thorough excavation, try to unfold the real LiuZhenas far as possible. The article studies first from the time of Jian'anwhichLiuZhen lives, and partial decribes social present situation as wellas the Jian'an literature characteristic. The first chapter mainly studiesLiuZhen's family background and his whole life, Unifies the extantmaterials, infers the approximate time to submit Cao Cao, and chats hisexperience around when LiuZhen was punished for an offense to queen Zhen.Second chapter mainly analyzes Liu Zhen's work. Cao Pi commendedLiuZhen's five words poem as "Qiwuyanzhishanzhe, Miaojueshiren", thefirst section analyzes his poetry, mainly farewell poem. Liu Zhen'sfarewell poem has deep emotion, great style, good similutude, which plungesthe boasting to friends and relatives into vivid and the bright image.Specially three poems of "Zengcongdi" and four poems of"Zengwuguanzhonglangjiang",received the sunanimous esteem of latergeneration poets. Next is his banquet poem, narrates poem, the mixed poemandlosing name poem. Second section analyzes his Fu and Prose. Because onlysix Fu and four prose, so put hese two kind of literary styles into onesection to analyze. His Fu is same with his poetry which express his idealthrough great words. Three proses are characteristical of "Lierguiyi".Third chapter analyzes LiuZhen's artistic feature, mainly has threeaspects. The first, stressing on "gas". The paper analyzes the concept of"gas" first, studies the "gas" in the LiuZhen's work, then taking several imitating poems of Bao Zhao and ]iang Yan as the example, separatelydiscusses the characteristic of "Qisheng" in Liu's poem.Second, "WenXinDiaoLong" commends the Liu's poem as "Qinggaocaihui","ShiPin" holds the opposite view, commends as"Qiguoqiwen, Diaorunhenshao". The author unifies the "Qing" in Liu Zhenseveral Fu, analyzes the characteristic of "Cicaihuamao" in it. Third, thebeauty of solemn and stirring. Liu Xizai of Qing dynasty describled Liu's poem as "Bei'erbuzhuang" in "Yi Gai", the author certainly does not agreewith this opinion. The majority of Liu's poem includes the content of sadnessand reprents the beauty of solemn and stirring.,which is related to thetime as well as individual disposition.Fourth chapter mainly elaborates the inheriting of Jian'an literarystyle and the influence to the later generation of Liu Zhen. "Shang Qi"was the poem style of Jian'an Cao and Liu. In "Liang ]in",the poem styleadvocated philosophical thought and Confucian ideas, Only Zuo Si, Liu Kunand so on inherited the style of "Shang Qi". Therefore, separately inthis first section and second section discussing the creation of Zuo Siand Liu Kun, and the realationship between LiuZhen and the Jian'an poemstyle. Finally is the paper summary part.
