Images research is a kind of research of poem and Ci in old time fromthe micro aspect. The images research of Ci in Tang and Song Dynasty is an importantbranch of Ci research. From the research of Ci in Tang and Song Dynasty in recent tenyears, we can find that these researches focus on the induction of images groups whichhave rich cultural meanings such like images research of Shangbie Ci, Xianchou Ci andsome typical research of one poet. The former example is the images research of Wentingyun, Su shi and Li qingzhao. The latter one is Building images, Moon images andBird images. All of these are separated and individual researches. But the works whichdisclose the mind changes of the poets in the special times from the images are less.The Jingkang Catastrophe has become a remarkable turning point in Chinesehistory during the Song Dynasty. After that time Song Dynasty came into SouthMigration Time. The impact of the great change has not only disturbed the alreadychaotic political and economical situations, but people's minds and psychological view.Ci, a delicate tool to express subtle emotions, has shown its outstanding charm. Thework has affirmed the importance of Ci in the early Southern Song Dynasty. He thinks the history ofCi is developed on the changes of Fanshi, and Dongpo Fanshi has developed in the earlySouthern Song Dynast. The Study of Ci Circle of South Migration in Song Dynasty, thePh. D paper by Huang Hai, has analysed the overall view from seven aspects which areCi-poets, the style of Ci, themes of Ci, the features of Ci, the creativity of Ci, criticworks of Ci and the influence of Ci. Moreover, The history of Ci in the Tang and SongDynasty by Mr. Yang Haiming, The history of Ci in the Southern Song Dynasty by Mr.Tao Erfu and Mrs. Liu Jinqi and The history of schools of Ci in Tang and Song Dynastyby Mr. Liu Yangzhong have dedicated special chapters to studying on the Ci of SouthMigration of Song Dynasty. Based on the studies above, this paper from the view of images explores thechange of poets' minds in this special South migration time. This paper is divided intofive parts:First part introduces the concepts and features of the images, defines the Fanshouof the poets in that time and analyzes the impact of South migration to themes and stylesof Ci. In addition, it summarizes the images of Ci in the South migration time.Second part analyzes the Political Ci dand its images in the South migration time.According to the themes, the Political Ci can be divided into Haoqing Ci, Beifen Ci,Kumen Ci and Piaobo Ci. It focuses on central Chinese images, bird images, touristimages and hero images, which expressed the poets' anger and sadness during thenational disaster.Third part analyzes the reason and characteristic of Yinyi in the South migrationtime. It chooses moon images, drink images, dream images, fisher images and birdimages as the examples, which shows the poets' complex minds in the situation thattheir dreams can not come true and they were forced to go abroad.Forth part introduces the images of clubs clubs and adds the new meanings to it.This paper takes the clubs Ci of Zhu dunru and Li qingzhao as the examples to analyzethe development of clubs images in poets' human life and mental experience.Fifth part concludes the regulation of Ci images in South migration time based onabove four parts. Ci images in South migration expressed the special minds of the poetsin that time. They had the outstanding characteristics and shown the period features.
