With the globalization of the world economy and the popularization of international exchange, China is in desperate need of people who are familiar with foreign cultures and capable of communicating accurately and appropriately in intercultural situations. This is a new challenge in college English teaching.Thus, it is really important to foster the students' positive attitudes towards the target culture, develop their cultural knowledge and skills as well as critical awareness, and enable them to communicate appropriately in an intercultural situation. From the perspective of interculture, according to the interrelationship between language and culture, the author proposes that we should combine culture teaching with language teaching, cultivate learners'intercultural communicative competence, thus making learners meet with success in future intercultural communication.
