With development of science and social economy, the communication among people has broken through the national boundaries’ limitation and realized global connection. Especially, because of the enhancement of Chinese economic power and the improvement of its international status, "Mandarin fever" is heating up continously around the world. In the context of intercultural communication, this paper mainly discusses Chinese teachers’ excellent intercultural communicative competence can promote thier teaching effectiveness.The whole paper includes five parts. The first part is the introduction about the current status of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Besides, this part makes a brief introduction about some related references and proposes the paper’s main research area based on them. The second part lists the obstacle factors on Chinese learners during the intercultural communication. And then, the paper gives rise to the urgency of the construciton of Chinese teachers because of the learners’ problems when learning Chinese. In the third part, the paper emphasezes the importance and necessity in training Chinese teachers from the aspect of curriculumn setting. At the same time, the paper contrasts Tianjin Normal University’s curriculumn setting with national standard to point out its advantages and disadvantages. By means of adopting the goods and avoiding the shortcomings to get the biggest benefits of Chinese teachers’ ability. The fourth part combines the second and third parts with practical teaching cases to prove that Chinese teachers’ intercultural communicative competence has the great influence on teaching effectiveness. The last part restates the importance of the combination of intercultural communicative competence and teaching Chinese as a foreign language for Chinese teachers.
