In this study, 532 adolescents were asked to fulfill an anonymous questionnaire to explore the characteristics of adolescent noncompliance. By using the "Adolescent Noncompliance Questionnaire", the author confirmed the theoretical classification of noncompliance; did the quantitative analysis work in developmental perspective and worked out the factors affecting the adolescent noncompliance and educational enlightenment on the basis of preliminary. Based on the analysis, the author has come to the following conclusion:1. The noncompliance during the period of adolescence fall into four main categories: Passive noncompliance, Simple refusal, Direct defiance and Negotiation(Excuses or Bargains).2. The study showed that the noncompliance developed as a U-shaped curve during the whole period of adolescence, rising sharply in early youth, slow to be at a certain altitude and mounting to the highest point in 18 years, and then declining sharply.3 . The noncompliance of adolescents showed that there are significant gender differences in different age and grade differences. The 11th grade is a linchpin age , when adolescents showed gender differences significantly, boys scores were significantly higher than those of girls.4. Adolescent - parent conflict focus on school and daily life affairs. The frequency and intensity of conflicts around privacy are the weakest and least. This result is consistent with the findings of previous researchers basically.5. Adolescent noncompliance is significantly correlated with the intensity of discussion between parents and their children.
