On The "adolescent" Photography In The Modern Context

" Adolescence " is a theme often explored by contemporary photography. Withinthe particular context of20th century subculture, the creative and expressivepossibilities posited by " adolescence " are endless. This text shall expand upon themeaning of " adolescence " in photography, while analyzing cases in photographyhistory and expressive modalities. The relationship between historical periods and thetheme of " adolescence " will be analyzed within framework of "modernism", whilethe expressive modalities of documentary and non-documentary photography will besummarized in relation to the previous themes. Finally, this text will express opinionson contemporary Chinese photography exploring the theme of " adolescence ".
