On The Relation Between Dufu's Poem And "Analects"

Dufu became a great poet for many reasons, among which his focusing on the former literary tradition of learning is a very important aspect. "Analects" is an very important literature which selected some great articles from Ch'in Dynasty to Qi and Liang Period. In Tang dynasty, it developed a special subject"Analects". The people of Tang dynasty were very interested in it, especially Dufu who was the great poet showed great interest. He mentioned"Analects"twice in his poem:"one is being familiar to reason of'Analects'", the other is"helping his son recite'Analects'". About this phenomenon, many researchers have a lot to say. The relation of Dufu and"Analects"is worthy of paying more attention to. This thesis bases on the"how Dufu is affected when he writes poem", Study the relationship between them. This thesis is divided five parts, the first part is the Introduction, the second part classifies the sentences that affect Dufu deeply to three sorts: draw lesson from words, sentences and meanings. On this base, the third part deciphers his poems. The forth part discusses the reasons why"Analects"influenced Dufu. This thesis considers that"Analects"in the Tang Dynasty is widely popular because of the atmosphere of that era. Imperial system for disabilities requires intellectual mastery must be familiar to"Analects". These two aspects are common reasons why people in Tang dynasty studied"Analects"very hard. Inheriting grandfather's poetry cause and with unique personal qualities are special reasons. The fifth part is remain, which explores the two different attitude of treating literary tradition, based on"Dufu influenced by'Analects'".
