Dufu was one of the greatest poets in ancient China, his poems reach perfection, representing the peak of the development of Chinese poetry. However, most scholars have focused on the study to his poems while ignoring other literary style of his creations. This thesis begins with the study of his prose-poem, analyzing the relations between poem and prose-poem that combined with his poetic creation under the background of the transition between poem and prose-poem., so that we can better know the value and significance of this phenomenon, the influence to poetry world and his ability of innovation as well. This article conducts the research from following several aspects:The preface summarizes the basic situation of the study of Dufu, and the purpose of writing this thesis.The first chapter inspects Dufu's achievement of prose-poem. Hackles and settles his overall points of view of prose-poem, analyzes the thought, emotion and artistic characteristics according to his works, in order to make a evaluation on the value of his prose-poems.The second chapter centered on the analysis of"Writing Poem in Prose-poem Style". Summarized historical factors on the formation of"Writing Poem in Prose-poem Style"so as to analyze the relations between succession and innovation. Combining textual understanding and detail analysis the characteristic of"Writing Poem in Prose-poem Style"was shown in aspects of subjects, style and skills in addition to discovering the beneficial exploration he has made in"Writing Poem in Prose-poem Style"area.To further study the significance of his"Writing Poem in Prose-poem Style", in the third chapter, it demonstrates the influence of"Writing Poem in Prose-poem Style"upon other poets who lived in the middle and late of the Tang Dynasty and also in the Song Dynasty by the cases of Fan yu, Li shang yin, Su shi and Huang ting jian.
