| With searching the origin and the background of Chinese internet "Mashup" video internally and externally, this thesis uses related theory to find the element of art, the characteristic of web culture and the fuction as the "social safety valve" of it. By academic analyzing, the thesis aims on disenchanting the mythologizing and the demonizing of "Mashup". Based on this, the writer fingers out the future of Chinese internet "Mashup" video, being inhibited by the government and incorporated by the commercialism.
