Body-Telling The History Of Women's Growth On The "Body Writing" In The Female Prose Since 1990s

Inspired by the calling of the era, the female prose has been greatly developed since the 1990s of the 20th century. And it presents a new phenomenon that the exploration of the experience and the feeling of the female body. Suffering the controversy and the misunderstanding under the background of the wide critique to the "body writing" in 1990s, this new phenomenon, therefore, lacked a high level of the theory which it should have.On the theory basis of the feminism, taking the analyzing and the generalizing asthe main method, tracking the development of the female prose, this thesis puts itsresearch point on the depiction of the experience and the feeling of the women'sbody from the texts, aiming to illuminate that the " body writing " is the respect forfemale experience; the concerning for the situation of the women's survival; thefemale consciousness and the independence of the female spirit; and that the originallanguage and text spirit full of humanity ,which "the body writing " reveals , alsoexploit the possibility that the female prose take innovation in variety of aspects .The thesis is made up of six parts:i The part of the introduction: it summarizes the course of the development ofthe female prose and presents the research object--the "body writing " in thefemale prose since 1990s.ii The body -- from being hiding to being discovered :This part sums upthe historical process of the being discovered and being cognized of the body, especially the body of the female, and the process that the female body was absorbed into the view of the female composing ,particularly the female prose, under the influence of the western feminism.iii The narrating of the body: basing on the analyzing texts , this part firstly discusses the main content of the "body writing " in the female prose since 1990s -- the vernal confusion and pain; the hardship and happiness of the breeding; the cruelty and sublimation of the death, then it analyses the works of Ye Meng and Zhou Xiaofeng, which are treated as the representative texts.iv The language of the body: it presents that the chief peculiarity of the inner trend and sensibility at the process of the depicting the body experience and feeling in the female prose, and that the continuous breakthrough and creating on the ground of the language and style.v The spirit of the body: it presents that the "body writing " in the female prose is the combination of the flesh and the soul, and that the depicting the body possesses the thinking upon the social meaning of the body as well as the humanity to a broad mass, it therefore, promotes the spirit of the body.vi Peroration: the female prose has been the live expressing of the female individual since the 1990s.the discovery of the body is the self searching and identifying of the female . On the basis of the prose ,the female bravely arrive at the essence of the body , take care of themselves as well as the others and achieve the construction of the rhetoric of the female body .
