A Cultural Blending Embodiment Of South And North During South And North Dynasties

Wang Bao is one of the most important writers in Southern and Northern Dynasties. In Northern Dynasty, he has the same reputation as Yu Xin and people called them 'Wang and Yu'. From the South to North, his writing style has changed a lot. This change is not only the symbol of his poem creation maturation, but also the results of the perfect harmony of South and North. So it has great significance in the history of literature. But the intellectual circle only pays attention to Yu Xin, who was regarded as the culmination of Six Dynasties' literature, but neglects Wang Bao, who also had vital function on the connection between South &North literature and Sui &Tang, which brought the cold reception to Wang Bao for a long time at the next. The reasons caused this phenomenon are as follows: the corpus of Wang Bao disappeared greatly; the literature standard has changed a lot; the political and moral judgments about Wang Bao were lower. All above these cause Wang Bao's literature position from somebody to nobody.Besides foreword and appendix, this paper is divided into two major parts.The first part is textual criticism contents. On the basis of extant historical materials and the contemporary scholar's research, this part discusses on Wang Bao's literature position from somebody to nobody. Firstly, discuss the preserved and disappeared corpus of Wang Bao. On the basis of the recording corpus of Wang Bao in the bibliography in the past dynasties to draw the outline of the loss clue on the Corpus of Wang Bao. Secondly, survey on the change of the literature standard from Sui & Tang. During the development of the literature, there exists a passive being acceptance position to the writers, and the change of the literature standard affects their position in the history of literature. Thirdly, survey on the some judgments about Wang Bao's political and moral. Review on some accusation about Wang Bao and try to draws some new explanation.The second part is poem discussion contents. On the basis of the text to unscramble the poem style of Wang Bao and to find out his function on the connection between South &North literature and Sui &Tang. Firstly, expound Wang Bao's experience in South Liang and his poem creation. Pay attention to analyzing several historical incidents and the influence on his disposition personality and creating psychology and sum up several different characteristics of Wang Bao's writing to his contemporary style. Secondly, expound Wang Bao's experience of entering the North and his poem creation. Discuss on the homesick of Wang Bao and analyze the great changes in Wang Bao's poem creation. Thirdly, analyze the cultural significance of Wang Bao's entering to North, firstly, the dissemination of the south advanced culture. Secondly, the acceptation of the North cultural environment and accepts. All above these makes a cultural blending embodiment of South and North in Wang Bao's creation.
