Abstract: Chinese commercial animation and art animation once bloomed in the 1960s and 7os, developed some good tradition, and accumulated some national characteristics, Which helped to make the foundation of "china school". Particularly, the ink and wash animation was the main force to compete with foreign animation, Which made great contribution to world animation. some of ink and wash animation won world prizes for many times ,and showed its indispensable role in animation world. But, nowadays ,when commercial animation ,no mater cinema animation or television animation, is not able to compete with foreign animation any longer, even not mention to export.Recently, an increasing number of people have devoted to the course of Chinese animation. But the topic how to modernize Chinese traditional animation still receives have lost.Chinese ink and wash animation, when analyzed from work formation, the direct is lack of film and television art language . The use of film language, not only influences its attraction, but also, to a large degree, decides the art quality of an ink and wash animation.
