Nowadays with the popularization of internet, online-love as a new love model to satisfy modern people's emotional needs on the stage of human being's life style history, the undergraduate is on the cutting edge. Being special social group as the undergraduates are, the study discussed the differences between online-love and traditional face-to-face love about self-disclosure and emotional experiences such as commitment, intimacy, attachment, trust, social support etc. in the process of love which focused by the both ways. It may guide undergraduates on the adjustment of web life by helping them to make wise decision of love models by which can maintain the undergraduate's the emotional health and to enrich the psychology of love or internet.Following the thought of concepts definition, interview analysis, question presentation, tool development, investigation and statistics and educational strategies, based on the literature and interview analysis with surveys and scales in domestic and overseas, the study developed tool to measure the characteristics of self-disclosure, emotional experiences with The Undergraduate's Love Mentality Questionnaire and measure the differences of the personality traits with the Sixteen Personality Factors Questionnaire in different models. A sample of 1294 undergraduates with love experience from nineteen colleges and universities in Chongqing, Henan, Shandong, Xi'an, Wuhnan, Jiangsu and Hunan is investigated. Conclusions come as following:1. The Undergraduate's Love Mentality Questionnaire is a well-done tool with validity and reliability on the measurement of the characteristics of self-disclosure, emotional experiences between online-love and traditional face-to-face love.2. Online-love's got its own attribution in development stage, and the distribution of undergraduates with online-love experience contains the percentage of 7.79.3. There is significant difference about self-disclosure and emotional self-discilsure of undergraduates in different love models, that the undergraduate who has experienced online-love and traditional face-to-face love > the undergraduate in traditional face-to-face love; there is not significant difference about self-disclosure topics in three love models.4. The emotional experience with the sense of commitment, intimacy, attachment, trust and social support has significant differences in different love models of the undergraduates, by which indicates that the emotional experience in traditional face-to-face love is much stronger than that of online-love.5. The significance of interaction in different love models and love motives shows in the aspects of emotional self-disclosure, commitment, intimacy, social support and emotional support, as follows:(1) In the love motive, the assets of the conbination of two love models without long-lasting intention and the online-love with long-lasting intention is significant better than traditional face-to-face love in emotional disclosure. In the aspects of commitment, intimacy and emotional support, the traditional face-to-face love is extremely better than the online-love. In the aspect of social support, the undergraduate with long-lasting intentionin in online-love is worse than the other two love models with long-lasting intention. (2) In the love models, the online-love with long-lasting intention is better than the online-love without long-lasting intention in emotional disclosure. The traditional face-to-face love and online-love with long-lasting intention are better than those without long-lasting intention in social support. The love model with long-lasting intention is extremely better than the love model without long-lasting intention in commitment, intimacy and emotional support, whether the love model is.6. It exists significant positive relative among the degrees of self-disclosure topics, and that of commitment and emotional support, while medium positive relative also exists in the aspects of emotional experience including the senses of commitment, intimacy, attachment, trust and social support; the satisfaction of online love has significant negative relative with self-disclosure topics and the aspects of emotional experience while the satisfaction of traditional face-to-face love exists significant positive relative with self-disclosure topics and the aspects of emotional experience. 7. It shows by multi-regression and path analysis that the direct negative prediction of online-love satisfaction is commitment, emotional support, the degree of involvement (less), the duration of online love (more than a year) and the direct positive prediction of love satisfaction is emotional support, attachment, the degree of involvement (much more), commitment, duration of love (more than a year) in the process of traditional face-to-face love process.8. There is significant difference in stability factor of personality trait between online-love and traditional face-to-face love. And the differences among the factors of boldness, independence and intensity close to the significance. It means that the individuals with the low score on the factors of stability and independence, and the high score on the factors of intensity and boldness lead to online love much more easily than the others.
