The Research On The Narrative Of The Thinkers' Works Of Qin Dynasty And Early Han Dynasty

The character of the narrative of the thinkers' works of Qin dynasty and early Han dynasty is very different to that of both Chinese historic narrative and the narrative of the thinkers' works before. Through the analysis of the three most important thinkers' works—Han fei zi, lu shi chun qiu and Huai Nan Zi, the analysis of the narrative logic hiding in these three books all the time and the analysis of the multitude of forms, The essay grasps the fundamentality-Tao, finds out a clue approaching to synthesis and grandness and discusses their effluence to the narrative tradition and culture of China briefly. The essay consists of the following five chapters:Chapter 1: the analysis of the relation between the narrative of the thinkers' works and the development of culture during the time of Qin dynasty and early Han dynasty. The essay holds the view that Han feizi synthesizes all the views of the schools of thoughts in the standpoint of legalists, shows its deep logic changed with time saying that principle and reason change with things, and these are why Han feizi strengthens adaptation and gets its practical narrative view holding that one should prepare things before comment, which influence its narration greatly!Chapter 3: the analysis of the narrative of lu shi chun qiu which is looked as the greatest cultural epitome before the unity of Qin dynasty. The essay holds the view that lu shi chun qiu synthesizes all the advantages of schools of thinkers and aims at the administration of nation.
