Research On Metaphors Using Allusions Of Han Dynasty In Medieval Chinese Poems

There're many medieval Chinese poems containing metaphors using allusions of Han dynasty. Researching that phenomenon, we can understand which allusions of Han dynasty medieval Chinese poems chose and how they chose, also, we can find out something about that time because they were a mirror of different phases. That will be a good preparation for further research on poems of Tang dynasty containing metaphors using allusions of Han dynasty. The academia's research on this aspect is still weak at present, so this paper would like to research the phenomenon on a full-scale and systematically.Apart from preface and addendum, this paper is divided into three parts. The author will respectively analyze this phenomenon (ie. Metaphors Using Allusions of Han Dynasty In Medieval Chinese Poems) from its characters, reasons and its effect.Part one: characters of this phenomenon. That included: 1,extensive subject, abundant feeling expressions, 2,the feelings containing in the poems tend from being weak to being heroic, 3,people in a time of turmoil and disorder always show their expectation towards reunion with or without consciousness, 4,more people are prone to civil but not martial attainments, 5,there were poems especially depicting women's appearances and psychology, besides, there were contacts of poems of war with yearnings of women.Part two: reasons leading to this phenomenon. The author will discuss this matter from inside and outside of literature. That included: 1,variety of aesthetic ideal, 2,peace and disorder of politics, change of relations between nations, 3,shift of martial spirit from Han dynasty to civil spirit in medieval age, 4,effect of palace-style poems.Part three: the effect of this phenomenon. The paper will discuss this question in the light of Tang poems, mainly from two aspect: classical process of allusions'use of Han dynasty and accumulation of depiction means of literature.
